Step 1 – Do your homework and get a quote.

Do your research and understand the basics of how solar works. There are some great

resources and product reviews online from credible sources. We also recommend speaking with

friends and family who have had systems installed. Talk to them about their retailer, the service

they provided and whether they recommend them. Online retailer reviews may also be useful.

You will need to speak to a Solar Homes authorised retailer about the solar panel (PV) system

that best suits the needs of your household.

Step 2 – Apply for eligibility.

You will receive an email notification when your retailer submits your quote to the program. Click

on the link in the email to begin your application and confirm your eligibility. To complete your

application, you will need to demonstrate property ownership, income and identity. Use the

checklist below to ensure you have everything you need before you begin the application

process.
